How can I help?
Drum Major Training & Support
For directors who want their drum majors to lead with confidence — not just conduct.
Your drum majors are the most visible leaders in your program. How they carry themselves on the podium, how they communicate with their peers, and how they handle pressure directly shapes the culture and performance of your entire ensemble.
I work with drum majors at every level — from students stepping into the role for the first time to experienced leaders preparing for their final season. Training goes beyond the mechanics of conducting technique to include presence, communication, and the kind of servant leadership that actually moves a band.
What this looks like:
Individual lessons (in-person in northern NJ or virtually)
Group clinics brought directly to your school
Ongoing seasonal support packages — regular check-ins throughout your season so development doesn't stop after one clinic
Summer intensive workshops

Conducting Instruction
For aspiring conductors ready to develop their craft at a higher level.
With a Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting and years of experience on the podium at the university level, I offer private conducting instruction for college students, young directors, and advanced high school students with serious aspirations in music.
Lessons are tailored entirely to where you are and where you want to go — technique, score study, rehearsal strategy, and podium presence.
Available in-person in northern NJ or virtually
Single sessions and ongoing lesson packages available

Program Consulting
For directors who are great at the music but overwhelmed by everything else.
Running a competitive marching or concert band program means wearing approximately seventeen hats at once. The music is why you're there — but the scheduling, the travel logistics, the volunteer coordination, the budget tracking, the staff systems — all of that has to work too, or it becomes the thing that burns you out.
I help directors and booster organizations build the organizational infrastructure that lets a program run smoothly, season after season. This isn't about coming in and taking over — it's about building systems that work for you and your community, then stepping back.
What this can include:
Season planning and master calendar setup
Competition travel logistics
Booster organization structure and volunteer systems
Staff coordination and hiring support
Ongoing seasonal consulting retainer
This work is shaped entirely around what your program actually needs. Every engagement starts with a conversation.
